Educational Goals
The main goal of the ITM programme is to train future global leaders on IT convergence technology who are specially qualified in advanced IT technologies, managerial capabilities, and global communication skills. The five general educational objectives of the ITM program are:
To understand the fundamentals of IT technologies and to equip with the necessary skills (including programming language skill) to implement those knowledge in practice
To understand the fundamentals of management and to analyse their best practices in global IT industry
To embody strategic and creative thinking skills based on the balance of engineering and managerial knowledge backgrounds
To develop practical skills through formal course works such as an internship and capstone design as well as diverse extracurricular activities
To practice global communication and presentation skills to cooperate with experts from different domains
