Operating in conjunction with the Information Technology Management for Business (ITMB) programme of Northumbria University(NU) in the UK, the ITM programme grants dual degrees with NU. All the classes from the 2nd year are delivered in English, and qualified students will be given an opportunity to study at NU for a year. Students who satisfy all the requirements of the programme will be awarded both a bachelor of engineering from Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech) and the BSc (Hons) IT Management award from NU.
As one of the main global programs of SeoulTech, the ultimate goal of the program is to foster global IT leaders with convergent capabilities of information technology and management, which are capable of coping with the convergence era. The program aims to produce graduates who can take employment in key management roles working for either an IT/IS provider or an IT/IS user organization by providing a distinctive and comprehensive education in both the management and practice of developing and running IT/IS systems.
